Pure's Evoke D2 With Bluetooth Lands In Aussie Market

Pure's Evoke D2 digital radio with Bluetooth has launched in the Australian market, combining DAB digital and FM radio with wireless streaming.

PureSporting a compact design, Pure states the D2 makes the "ideal bedside or kitchen radio".

The combination of digital radio and Bluetooth helps the D2 stand out from the crowd, offering the "best of both worlds".

The D2 is designed to pair with smartphones and tablets, enabling wireless streaming of music, while switching from streaming to radio can be carried out on the device with a flick of the switch.

Pure states the D2's wood casing, tuned speaker and latest digital amplifier deliver "class-leading audio", with the emphasis on both aesthetics and substance.

Other features include an input for an iPod/MP3 player, alarm, sleep and snooze timers, 20 presets (10 DAB and 10 FM) and a kitchen timer.

An optional rechargeable B1 battery pack provides over 30 hours of portable listening per charge.

The D2 with Bluetooth carries a price tag of $229 RRP, with the rechargeable B1 battery pack carrying a price tag of $79 RRP.
