Soniq's 55-inch Smart LED TV has seen a price drop to $699 until September 14 to shake up Father's Day sales "while stocks last".

Fresh from announcing a 3-year sponsorship of the Melbourne Renegades T20 Big Bash Cricket team yesterday, Soniq has announced its 55-inch Smart TV is $100 cheaper for two weeks only, in conjunction with retail partner JB Hi-Fi. 

Promising a super slim profile, specs include: 

- Full HD 1920x1080P LCD screen with LED backlighing
- an ARM dual-core CPU and quad-core GPU to power the "Cinavision" platform within
- built-in Wi-Fi
- a 50MHz refresh rate
- 3 x USB port
- 4 x HDMI ports.
