A German TP Scooter that costs $2,800 and comes with a 1,000W zero-emissions electric engine will cost approximetly $0.2c a kilometre to run.
Capable of 50 kilometres an hour the matt-black German made scooter folds down to just 139cm long, 35cm wide and 62cm high. It’ll fit easily into the boot of a 4 wheel drive vehicle or can be taken on a train or put into the hold of an aeroplane using a supplied designer bag.

The scooter has a removable battery and standard plug which means you can top up the power while at work or in a coffee shop.
For added style, the Maximilian II scooter has been fitted with 12.5in racing motorbike tyres on aluminium rims, with self-sealing tubes. Also available is a 500W Ferdinand II ($2,000) version.
Similar in classification to 50cc scooters, they can be driven anywhere in Australia.

In Europe the scooter is exempt from road tax which may not happen in some States of Australia.
