It took a barge to install a 103″ Panasonic plasma TV into a Sydney apartment recently, now the Japanese Company has gone one better with the launch of a 152″ 3D plasma TV at this year’s CES in Las Vegas.
The 152″ inch screen, which is attracting crowds like a magnet, is equivalent to nine 50in panels. For optimum viewing you would need to be seated between 25ft and 38ft away, according to industry observers.
Resolution is a mere 4096 x 2160 pixels, which is such high definition that viewers shouldn’t see any difference between looking at the display and out a window.
During a test demo I was blown away by the clarity and the sheer quality that Panasonic has delivered with this screen.
Tipped to cost over $125,000 the screen has enormous potential in the commercial market, claims Panasonic.
