Forecast prices for the 2018 iPhone release show a drop in prices with the smallest model to start at US$700 according to analysts at RBC.
Apple insider and KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple will be releasing three new devices this year, a 6.1 inch LCD device, a 5.8 inch OLED device and 6.5 inch OLED device.
The cheapest of the three will be the LCD device to be around US$700 with the 5.8 inch OLED (iPhone X) to be US$899 and the iPhone X Plus, 6.5 inch OLED model to be priced around US$999.

This could be a move to gain back some of the customers Apple lost from pricing the iPhone X at $1,579.
For its second quarter, Apple’s iPhone sales dropped compared to the prior year with some commenting the price was putting consumers off.
