Toshiba has unveiled a $299 weatherproof camcorder that can shoot videos underwater.

According to the company, the Camileo BW10 Sportscam has 5-megapixel CMOS sensor that captures video in 1080p. It sports a rubber casing, is waterproof up to 2 metres and has a 2-inch LCD monitor.
Other features include SDXC memory card compatibility, HDMI output, YouTube upload function, 10x digital zoom and battery charging via USB.
Toshiba Information System Division’s General Manager, Robert Wilkinson said, “The Camileo BW10 Sportscam is stylish, lightweight and can go anywhere. This fun colourful HD camcorder is water-friendly and weatherproof, so perfect for the holidays, wherever you are.”
The Camileo BW10 Sportscam is available for $299.
