Retailer revamps online and m- sites as it looks to mobile commerce.

The online appliance retailer has gone mobile-centric, developing smartphone and tablet friendly sites, saying one in three users access their site via mobile already.

It is also offering new ‘same day delivery’ in the Sydney metro area.
It has launched a revamped website with more info and payment options. 

The mobile site has a user-friendly interface and easy-to-use navigation tools to browse and compare products.

The savvy m-site also automatically finds the user’s  location to calculate the shipping costs and offer the best delivery option.

The company is expecting a further increase in traffic on its redesigned mobile website.

“We believe in mobile shopping being a major part of the future ofretailing” said Peter Hammerman, 2nds World’s Managing Director.

“Mobile shopping is not only about being cutting-edge. It’s about offering a more convenient shopping experience that matches today’s consumers’ needs.”

2nds World has revamped its online store with new layout with more detailed information, videos and images of products, customer reviews, the option to compare similar products and the portal has an “in-store feel”.

The retailer is now allowing customers to pay via Paypal or Instant Bank Transfer (via POLI), in addition to Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

It is also offering new ‘same day delivery’ in the Sydney metro area.
