3 Mobile has announced that the HTC Magic will be free on its $99 cap.

The company also said that they will be offering 50% off all X-Series Ultimate packs so that users can enjoy all the Internet features of the Magic for less and provide unlimited access to Facebook.
On the cap plan offer coupled with the half price Internet deal, 3 customers will get the handset with up to 3GB of included data for less than $120 per month.
3 is also offering the Magic on its $29 Cap, with users having to pay $63 a month for a 1GB plan. This includes the handset repayment of $24 plus the $10 X-Series Ultimate pack.
Noel Hamill, Director Sales, Marketing and Product at 3 said, “The response to this handset launch has been phenomenal. We’ve had hundreds of people pre-register for the HTC Magic, showing that people recognize the natural fit of combining 3 and this handset. We anticipate many more people will pre-register for the handset on 3 before it is available in 3 stores mid June.”
