Australia’s first 3G provider, 3 Mobile, has announced that it has reached over one million 3G customers.
3 CEO, Kevin Russell, said “One million customers is more than just a number. For 3 it represents scale, credibility and a platform for changing the way people in Australia use their mobiles.”
“Our focus remains to deliver our customers the most innovative and exciting content via their mobile phones. With the awareness of the 3 brand and service offering being raised, and our customer base increasing, we are well placed to continue our leadership in Australia’s 3G market,” he continued.
3 Mobile launched its 3G mobile network in April 2003, offering services such as video calling, mobile broadband and live mobile TV.
