Electronista have uncovered some Apple news in the most unlikely of places. According to an Apple job listing it appears that the company is looking to include 3G in their MacBook.
The listing calls for a communications QA engineer, working full time within the Mac Hardware Group in Cupertino. In addition to regular duties that you would expect from the position, the advert also seeks a candidate who can test driver bugs relating to “3G Wireless WAN” connections, alongside Bluetooth, Ethernet and WiFi.
This comes as quite a surprise as Apple has been resistant to include 3G modems in their notebooks in the past.
