Vodafone has begun offering Apple’s iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G in Australia on a range of monthly deals. It’s the first Australian carrier to do so.Vodafone is offering only the 16GB and 64GB Wi-Fi+3G models, which it says will work on its new 850MHz network.
There are more than 20 contract deals on offer. For example, the 16GB model can be had for zero upfront at $45 a month on a 24-month deal with a 1.5GB data allowance; a 6GB data deal costs $59 a month; or users can score 12GB for $69 a month.
Users who pay $299 upfront on a 12-month deal can get 1.5GB of data for $52 a month, five gigs for $66 a month or 12GB for $76 a month.
