Apple’s latest software release will solve Siri, bugs n all, say developers. 5.0.1 Beta 2, Apple second update to iOS 5 launched last month, which it hopes will clean up the recent mess associated with poor iPhone 4S battery and outage issues with Siri personal assistant.
Last week, Apple send iOS 5.0.1 Beta 1 to registered Apple developers but a flurry of new issues were reported since.
The location service, which was thought to be draining the life out of the battery, has also been tweaked with the update, meaning when you stop using the service, it automatically switches off location.
Software developers told the Guardian that they have noticed improved battery life with the update, which is to be made public in the coming weeks.
And good news for die-hard Aussie iPhone owners – Siri now understand your accent far better than before. (Wohoo).
