A new battery for fourth-gen iPod and iPod nano claiming to provide 50 hours of power has been developed by Japan Trust Technology.
The 6000 mAh capacity external battery connects via cable to the dock, features a capacity gauge and is claimed to be fully chargeable within four hours.
Initially available in Japan only, it measures 82x58x4 mm and weighs 180 grams.
