Audio-Technica have remastered M-Series including the M50
Audio-Technica
has remastered its critically acclaimed M-Series pro headphones.
The four
remastered cans include: ATH-M20x, M30x, M40x and M50x, designed for long
sessions in the studio and for on-the-go.
Taking cues
from the sound and design of A-T’s acclaimed ATH-M50, all three
feature 40mm drivers with rare earth magnets and copper-clad aluminum voice
coils, as well as a circumaural design that contours around the ears for
excellent sound isolation in loud environments.
The
ATH-M50x (featuring 45mm drivers) has the same sonic signature as the original,
sound isolating ear cups, refined ear pads and three detachable cables.
The new
M50x, priced at $249, features ruler flat frequency response and deep
accurate bass says its makers.
M40x at
$169, M30x at $129 and M20x at $89, available in black, white and
limited-edition blue with a brown headband.

A chip off
the M50x block, the high-performance M40x also offers a flat frequency response
for accurate audio monitoring across an extended frequency range.
Sound
isolation and swiveling earcups for one-ear monitoring if required.
Engineered
with pro-grade materials and robust construction, the M40x excels in
professional studio tracking and mixing, as well as DJ monitoring, say its
makers.
