Paramount, the only major Hollywood studio besides Universal to continue backing the HD DVD format has announced the release of drama A Mighty Heart, starring Angelina Jolie in the next-gen format.
With the star attraction of the film’s leading lady, award-winning director Michael Winterbottom at the helm and the Valentine’s Day launch date, the studio is pushing A Mighty Heart on HD DVD as a must see.
The film is based on a true story of Mariane Pearl’s account of the life and death of her husband, Wall Street Journal reporter Danny Pearl.
Including in the bonus features is a behind-the-scenes doco looking at the process of making this film entitled A Journey of Passion: The Making of A Mighty Heart.
The film will also be released on DVD, both formats will be on shelves on February 14th.
