Kingston has released the DataTraveler 100 USB Flash drive – a flash drive that sports a capless design by safely housing the USB connector inside its casing. And with a new “thumb-action” slide positioned on the side of the drive, anyone can retract and protract the USB connector with just a simple, single-hand operation.

With a storage capacity of up to 8GB, users may be able to copy, transfer, and share more files instantly. Regional Manager of Kingston for Australia / New Zealand, Vaughan Nankivell said, “The DataTraveler 100’s new retractable design reduces the drive’s overall size which allows for easy and unobtrusive transport in a pocket or attached to a keychain. And with various capacities available, the DataTraveler 100 is the perfect solution for storing files.”
The new Kingston DataTraveler 100 is fully compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP (SP1 and above), and Windows 2000 (SP3 and above) as well as Mac OS (10.x and above) and Linux (2.4 and above). In addition, the Kingston DataTraveler 100 carries a fully guaranteed five-year warranty.
