AAPT has launched a home wireless (WiFi) broadband modem which will be available as a contract-free broadband offer.
“The AAPT home WiFi offer presents great value for those consumers who are looking for a cost effective wireless network solution for the home. It will be available as a no contract term broadband offer that allows consumers to change deals, if their telco needs change,” said AAPT’s Gerry Armstrong.
The start-up costs for WiFi if you self install are $99 for a Thomson modem and $29, $39 or $59 monthly broadband access fee when your internet is bundled with your home phone. But if you’re not keen on self-installing, AAPT has partnered with Gizmo to provide professional installation and networking options.
To check out which bundle is right for you, the company has also created an online ‘bundle calculator’ which lets you input the current usage levels of your phone and broadband services and then choose the best value bundle.
“The calculator makes it very easy for customers to decide what deal they want from AAPT. And with the no term contracts, it offers them the flexibility to change the mix of their bundle if their life circumstances change,” Mr Armstrong added.
