Swedish appliance designer, Aarke, has released its special edition Copper sparkling water maker in Australia (A$279.99), with the product set to land in selected Harvey Norman stores by March 1.
Launched down under in early November, Aarke’s water carbonator is marketed as a premium kitchen appliance – a “sculptural piece” to “make a style statement” on a users’ counter-top.
The new Copper version is set to further enhance its fashionable X-factor, joining other colour options of silver steel, white, matte black and brass.
Aarke’s sparkling water maker has achieved significant global fanfare, including being named as one of Oprah’s 2018 favourite things.
The product claims to be the first of its kind to feature a complete stainless-steel enclosure, contrasting other plastic rivals.
The machine pledges fresh sparkling water on-demand, and can be used with Aarke branded organic tonic syrups (A$12.99/each) for flavoured drinks – e.g. bitter tonic, rhubard tonic, spruce shoots tonic.
Complementing its stylish exterior, Aarke’s Sparkling Water Maker incorporates high-end components and safety valves to create carbonated drinks in seconds.
Users are simply required to affix the included bottle and push down a lever – the machine simultaneously carbonates water and releases pressure.
Aarke’s Sparkling Water Maker ships with a PET water bottle and instruction manual, with gas cylinder not included.
The product is compatible with 60L CO2 cylinders and bottles from other brands, including Sodastream.
