Telstra announced that it will now stream ABC1 and SBS ONE TV channels via its Mobile Foxtel service.

The new additions boost the total number channels available on Mobile Foxtel to 33. According to the company, this new feature will allow Next G customers to tune into ABC favourites such as ‘Spicks and Specks’, ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Sesame Street’ or popular SBS shows such as ‘World News Australia’ and ‘The World Game’.
These new live streaming channels are available at no additional cost to subscribers of Telstra’s Mobile Foxtel packs.
“Packs start from $12 per month or $4 for a day pack. Data used to stream the service over the Telstra Next G network is included in the price of each pack,” said the company.
The packs and channels include:
- Entertainment Pack/channels: FOX8; TV1; THE COMEDY CHANNEL; E! Entertainment; Bio; SCI FI; and Fashion TV
- Sport Pack/channels: FOX SPORTS News TV; Eurosportnews; Union Action Sports; and WWE Mobile.
- News & Documentaries Pack/channels: SKY NEWS; SKY NEWS Business; CNN; FOX News; BBC World News; Crime & Investigation Network; Discovery Mobile; National Geographic Channel
- Kids Pack/channels: Nickelodeon Mobile; Nick Jr.; Disney Channel; Playhouse Disney; Cartoon Network; ANIMAX
- Music Pack/channels: Channel [V]; [V] Hits; MAX; MTV; TMF, CMC
- Active Channels: With any Mobile FOXTEL subscription get access to SKY NEWS Now and WEATHER Active for no extra cost.
