Acer has announced the expansion of its SpatialLabs stereoscopic 3D lineup to the Aspire laptops and Predator gaming monitors.
The new Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition laptop, which provides 3D content for entertainment and creation on a 15-6-inch UHD display. Additionally, it comes with a range of AI-powered SpatialLabs apps for 3D viewing and editing.
It also comes with Microsoft CoPilot, as well as Windows 11, and AI-supported solutions in Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice.
This laptop integrates SpatialLabs’ advanced optical solutions with the power of up to an Intel Core i7-13620H processor, as well as up NVIDIA GeForce RT 4050 GPUs.
It’s shipped with SpatialLabs Experience Center Pro, which has a range of SpatialLabs apps and add-ons. Additionally, SpatialLabs Go uses Acer’s proprietary AI models to transform 2D to 3D in real time.
SpatialLabs Player also provides the user with full control for side-by-side video playback and switching to 2D from 3D.
SpatialLabs Model Viewer and rendering technology can import and convert CGI and CAD files to 3D illustrations for inspection.
This laptop also supports Acer’s OpenXR runtime on compatible apps, as well as other developer tools such as SpatialLabs Unity and Unreal Engine plug-ins.
Lastly, the 15.6-inch screen is a UHD IPS panel with 100% support for Adobe RGB colour gamut, and can be switched between 2D and 3D.
Then there’s the Predator SpatialLabs View 27 gaming monitor, which allows users to become engulfed in true to life 3D experiences through SpatialLabs TrueGames technology. Acer Immerse Audio system is also a virtual headset for ambient audio.
The SpatialLabs TrueGame uses its proprietary shader and driver technique to develop individual 3D profiles with existing depth information from games. The latest 3D Ultra mode, with a second virtual camera provides greater depth and geometry, and offers a larger collection of 3D stereo configurations. This means gamers will be able to customise visual effects and intensity.
Clicking the patented One-click Game play function automatically launches games in the pre-configured 3D profiles. Additional AAA titles are added every month.
Acer Immerse Audio echoes soundscapes from its dual 2.5 W speakers, enhanced by AI-driven beamforming acoustic transmissions and headtracking solutions.
2D and 3D visuals are shown through the Predator SpatialLabs View’s 27-inch, 2D-3D switchable 4K panel, due to its 160Hz refresh rate, 400nits brightness, and Delta E< 2 colour accuracy.
It has AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility as well.
Australian pricing for the Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition and Predator SpatialLabs View 27 is still to come.
