Acer’s Predator line of gaming notebooks and monitors has landed in the Australian market.The Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks, and the Predator X34 and Z35 ultra-wide, curved gaming monitors are now available.
The Predator 15 and 17 gaming notebooks are decked out with a 6th gen Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory, an enterprise level 512 GB PCIe solid state drive, and Nvidia GeForce GTX980 graphics.
“They feature SoundPound technology for stellar audio features and gamers can customise their notebooks using the Acer PredatorSense keyboards’ programmable keys,” Acer states.
“The Killer DoubleShot Pro allows Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections to work together for the ultimate high-speed attack. And the unique Predator FrostCore triple fan dissipates heat and keeps the notebooks running cool and quiet.”
Acer, meanwhile, states that the 178-degree curved viewing angle of its X34 and Z35 gaming monitors delivers “an immersive, wraparound experience”.
The design provides for “less eye movement while gamers can pounce with super-fast refresh rates”, while there is “light and tilt ergonomics for gamers and graphics professionals”.

The Predator 15 and 17 notebooks are priced from $2,999 RRP and $3,299 RRP, respectively, and are both available from Radio Rentals SA and Dick Smith. The Predator X34 is priced at $1,999 RRP through Synnex, Ingram and Bluechip, with the Predator Z35, carrying a price tag of $1,899 RRP, available at Dick Smith, Bing Lee, Radio Rentals SA, Synnex, Ingram and Bluechip.
