The A200 has no rear camera, but in its defence who uses a tablet for snapping photos anyway? Tab cameras come in handy for video conferencing and the Acer caters to that with a front facing 2MP camera, which is nifty for apps like Skype.
Although the A200 loses marks for lacking a rear camera, it quickly scores some more by including a full sized USB 2.0 port, a microSD expandable memory slot and a microUSB port.
The inclusion of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is a big draw for the A200 as it imbues it with advanced multitasking, a plethora of application support and the ability to accommodate multimedia playback or everyday professional needs.
By no stretch of the imagination do we think the A200 is a spec leading tab; it’s just at $369 there’s a tonne of value that makes it a noteworthy contender.
