Acer has scored a Gold medal at the London Olympics outperforming Samsung who sponsored the much fancied swimmer James Magnussen who failed to deliver gold in the pool.
Acer who back Gold Medal winner Sally Pearson is about to launch a new marketing campaign for their highly popular Ultrabooks featuring Pearson who last night won a Gold Medal for Australia in the 100 metres hurdles.
For several seconds Australia waited after Pearson crossed the line, seconds passed and no one knew, least of all Pearson. She looked to the screen and it told her nothing. She looked to the crowd and her coach and mouthed ”is it me?”. No one knew.

Then the screen flickered to life with words that read, 1. S. Pearson (AUS) 12.35.
Prior to the Olympics Samsung spent millions marketing their association with Magnussen, quietly Acer sat back and waited as Pearson smashed her own records on the way to a Gold Medal victory.
