During the past month several big tablet vendors have expressed concern over Microsoft’s plans to enter the tablet hardware market, now the CEO of Acer has come out swinging claiming that the giant US software Company should “think twice” about their hardware plans.

Acer CEO,JT Wang, says Microsoft should think again about making hardware because “it is not something you are good at” – coming from Acer that must really smart.
“We have said think it over. Think twice,” Wang told the Financial Times in London.
“It will create a huge negative impact for the ecosystem and other brands may take a negative reaction. It is not something you are good at so please think twice.”
It’s also emerged overnight that Microsoft is planing a second version of their Surface tablet after it was revealed that the Company is looking for additional staff to work on hardware development.
Microsoft will start selling the Surface tablet on 26 October, they are the first of a planned family of Windows hardware devices according to Microsoft staff.
Tech Radar in the UK said that Acer is obviously concerned that “crappy hardware from Microsoft” will devalue Windows 8 tablets in general, impacting its own sales in yet another way.
