Quickflix, who has been in major managerial and financial strife of late, today announced that it has signed a deal agreement with Humax
Quickflix will now distribute its movie content through IP-connected Humax PVRs, starting in the first quarter of 2013.
Humax PVR users will have access to Quickflix subscription and pay per view streaming of movies, TV shows, via the Humax TV Portal.
Compatible models include Humax HDR-7500T and HDR-7500T.
“We are delighted to have entered into a partnership with an award winning PVR manufacturer. Humax is a brand with a global reputation for delivering high quality PVRs and we look forward to expanding this relationship,” says Stephen Langsford, Quickflix Chairman and CEO.
Quickflix streaming will also be available on the Humax Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) models, and there are otehr models planned for release in 2013.
Quickflix share are currently trading at $0.20 on ASX.
