Alcatel has launched its Pop 4 smartphone in the Australian market, with it now available nationally at Optus stores and online.The slim-design Pop 4 sports a 5″ screen, is equipped with 4G connectivity, and is decked out with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, with integrated flash both front and back, with Alcatel stating that it has been “created with tech-savvy millennials and Gen Z in mind”.
It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor and is equipped with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory (4 GB end-user memory), with expandable microSD memory up to 32 GB, and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.
Alcatel states that a 2,500 mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby, with a quick charge function allowing users to charge their battery to 50 per cent in 30 minutes.

Available in dark grey, the Pop 4 is available now from Optus for $119 RRP.
