Initially announced at this year’s CES, Alcatel have now released Australian pricing and availability for their latest phablet, the A3 XL.
Coming in at a sub-$200 price, the device features a 6-inch high definition display and enhanced speakers powered by Arkamys.
The A3 XL runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and touts a 3000mAh battery and 2GBs of RAM paired with 16GBs of on-board storage.
It’s even got a nifty set of dual-flash cameras (8-megapixels on the back and 5-megapixels on the front) along with a 1.1Ghz quad-core processor to keep things snappy.
“At Alcatel, our mission is to make smartphones more affordable, accessible and fun for people everywhere. We’ve done that with the Alcatel A3 XL – it’s a compelling option for anyone seeking a fully featured device, without blowing a hole in their budget. The added extra security fingerprint feature, expected in higher end mobile devices, provides added security and peace-of-mind”, said David Vieira, Product & Marketing Director, Alcatel Mobile.
The grey and silver variants of the phone will arrive through Vodafone at an RRP of $199 from July.
