Alcatel has announced the launch of its two new sub-$300 smartphones with JB Hi Fi – the Alcatel 3X and 1S – just in time for the holiday season.
With the entry-level 1S delivering a dual camera for $199 and the 3X featuring a triple rear-camera and fingerprint security for $299, Alcatel adds to its existing low-cost smartphone range with two new models delivering premium designs and flagship-style features.
The Alcatel 3X is a 6.5-inch HD+ smartphone that features a 16MP+8MP+5MP triple rear-camera equipped with smart scene detection, which identifies different photo scenarios and automatically optimises photography settings for 21 different subjects.
Weighing less than 180g, it comes equipped with super wide-angle lens, which spans 102-degrees, as well as real-time bokeh to deliver the ability to take artistic photos.
Other features include fingerprint sensor and Face Key, which delivers premium security in a cost-effective package, as well as coming with Google Assistant support – enabling users to access apps, search for information, control smart home devices, set reminders, send messages and more.
Moving to the 1S, the entry-level smartphone is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full View 18:9 HD+ Display, as well as an 81% screen-to-body ratio for a greater viewing experience, and a dual rear camera setup (13MP+2MP) and single LED flash.
It also comes with fingerprint sensor and Face Key feature for better security, a sizeable memory for the price point (32GB ROM and 3GB RAM), as well as an Octa-Core processor for improved download and upload speeds.
Both devices are now available from JB Hi-Fi. Please click here for the 3X and here for the 1S.
