Alcatel has tweeted out an image of three new smartphones, the Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3 and Alcatel 1x which the company says all have 18:9 display.
The tweet did not allude to much but with the hashtag #MWC2018 you can make a good guess that this is what the company will be showcasing.

No word on when the devices will be released or when they will be available in Australia but we will know more once MWC has kicked off.
MWC is from February 26 to March 1 in Barcelona.
