German supermarket Aldi has revealed new premium built-in kitchen products due to go on sale this weekend, taking on the likes of Winning Appliances and The Good Guys in appliance retail.
The Stirling branded appliances in stores from September 14 include an oven, cooktops, dishwasher and rangehoods.
The appliances all come with a 3-year in home warranty.
The 73-litre electric oven ($299) boasts a temperature range between 50 degrees and 250 degrees.
A triple-glazed door keeps the heat in and can be removed for easier cleaning.
Aldi will also be offering two cooktops, an induction and a gas model (both $299).
The induction model has 9 stage power setting, a digital touch control panel and four cooking zones.
The top is sealed with French Eurokera glass.
The gas model has five Italian-made burners with flame failure safety devices and cast iron trivets.
It can be fueled by natural gas or LPG, with a conversion kit included for installation.
Shoppers can also choose between two rangehoods to complement the new cooktops: one with touch panel controls and three washable baffles and one with a curved glass canopy and two washable baffles.
Both offer three variable fan speeds and sell for $199.
For when the cooking is over, Aldi ranges a new stainless steel dishwasher ($349).
Users have a choice between 14 standard place settings and 6 programs, with delay start and eco wash settings.
The dishwasher has a 3-star energy rating and a 4.5-star water rating, with anti-flood device installed to prevent leaking.
The new appliances will go on sale at Aldi on September 14.
