Amaysim is inviting Australians to “get giggy with it” with the introduction of four new sim-only affordable mobile data plans with unlimited talk and text Australia-wide, on the Optus 4G Plus network.
The new unlimited plan lineup includes 5GB for $20/28 days, 30GB for $30/28 days, 45GB Unlimited Plan for $40/28 days, and 60GB Unlimited Plan for $50/28 days.
Amaysim offers no lock-in contracts and customers can switch between data limits at no extra cost.
The telco is banking on recent research from Telsyte for its Australian Digital Consumer Study 2019, that the average smartphone data usage is up 62% in the last year, likely in part due to an increase in streaming services.
“amaysim offers some of the country’s most competitive and affordable SIM-only plans and we know Australians are increasingly data-hungry, so we’ve ramped up the data,” said Chief Commercial Officer at amaysim, Isaac Ward.
“Providing 30GB for $30 or up to 60GB for just $50, our customers can surf, stream and download.”
The plans also cater for international calls.
The $30, $40 and $50 plans include unlimited standard international calls to 10 countries — including New Zealand, USA, UK, and China.
While the $40 and $50 plans offer 300 minutes of standard international calls to 22 countries, including the Netherlands, Philippines and France.
