Entries for the inaugural Portrait Conference are now open, providing amateur, student and professional photographers the chance to win up to $10,000 cash for their work.
The two-day Portrait Conference provides candidates the opportunity to have their work reviewed by internationally acclaimed judges, and extends to photographers in Australia and New Zealand.
World-renowned portrait photographer, Peter Adams, will be a keynote speaker, with other presenters including Tim Bauer, Vicky Papas Vergara, Natalie Howe, Robyn Campbell, Marcus Bell, Charmaine Heyer, Peter Rossi and Gary Grealy.
Created by Kayell Australia, the Portrait Conference is scheduled to become an annual event, and is made possible by the support of Epson and Nikon.
The competition offers one of Australia’s largest prize pools for photographic work.
Entries for this year’s Portrait Conference close on July 31st 2018, and will be judged by award-winning photographers Kelly Tunney, Peter Eastway and Damien Bowerman.
Top 30 entrants in the below three categories automatically qualify for The Print Competition, which offers an additional prize pool of $200,000. Winners will be announced on the final night of the Portrait Conference on October 14th at Sydney’s Australian National Maritime Museum.
