Are you having problems with your old white iPhone 4? According to sources Apple is giving upgrades to their new iPhone 4S to customers who own the old phone due to shortages.According to 9to5 Mac, Apple staff claim they are experiencing a shortage of the iPhone 4 in white and are issuing the newer iPhone 4S instead. As per protocol, the replacement iPhone is a refurbished model.
It is not known of Australia is feeling the shortage bite.

Electronista said that “the reason for the shortage wasn’t specified. Apple also hasn’t commented on the initial reports.
“At least publicly, shortages of Apple replacement units are rare. The mention suggests either an unexpected, disproportionate amount of replacements for particular models or a strain on overall supply.”
