Samsung will be holding its breath as the decision to have its Galaxy 10.1 tablet banned in Australia will be announced next week, much to Apple’s delight or chagrin.Justice Annabelle Bennett of the Sydney Federal Court believes a judgement on the Samsung-Apple fiasco will be made as soon as next week according to a WSJ report.
“I’ll do it as quickly as I can. I would hope to give judgement next week,” said Bennett.
Attorney David Catterns said on Samsung’s behalf that the launch of the Galaxy 10.1 will be put on hold until the decision. This marks the second time the tab has been postponed in the Australia market, with its launch meant to be tomorrow, the 30th of September 2011.
“It’s not for us to crack the whip for you, Your Honour,” Catterns said.
