Apple Australia is looking to expand their range of attach devices for iPad’s and iPhone to include baby, monitors, sleep managers and a range of health devices.During a recent visit to Australia, Apple US executive Don Gingsburg met with several device importers to review the sale of attach devices in Apple Australia stores.
Among the new products to be sold in Apple stores is an iBaby monitor that allows parents to watch their child on an iPhone or iPad. Another device set to be sold by Apple is an iHealth blood pressure monitor that records data to an Apple device.

The iHealth monitor turns any iOS device (3.0 or later) into a powerful blood pressure monitor that’s compatible with the iPhone4, iPod touch and iPad2.
The move by Apple to help distributors gain more retail exposure for their attach devices in Australia comes as app developers call for more support from Apple to promote the applications that are being sold in Apple shops.
Among the distributors set to benefit from the Apple support is Melbourne based iWorld who distribute several iPod and iPhone attach devices.
