Asian manufacturer Pegatron has been given the nod by Apple to produce the new iPhone which is believed to have a larger screen than prior iPhone models.
Taiwanese publication DigiTimes said that in the past “big runs,” similar to what Apple have placed with Pegatron have normally gone to Foxconn, who was recently in the news due to several suicides at their manufacturing plants.
It appears that Apple has increased their order from 10 million units to 15 million with the Company tipped to mount a major marketing campaign running up to Xmas.
