He’s opened Apple Stores in Sydney, Bondi and Newcastle. Now former Apple Store manager Nick Wells is to perform the same task for Microsoft.
He’s been chosen to run the new Microsoft Store in Sydney’s Pitt St Mall, which is due to open its doors on Thursday next week.
Wells told Australian IT that having a short stint with US homeware brand Williams-Sonoma between the Apple and Microsoft appointments meant Microsoft wasn’t poaching.
The store is to have some 50 staff from 10 countries who speak 21 languages. They have spent recent weeks in training sessions.
