The Asus Taichi, a Windows 8 dual-screen ultrabook, will not be released before Xmas despite promises back in October that it will be available in time for the peak buying period. An Asus spokesperson confirmed the delay in an email to PCWorld overnight. The delay comes as consumers shy away from purchasing devices running Windows 8 hardware. According to analysts consumers are upgrading current hardware with a low cost version of Windows 8.
