Forget Nexus: Asus is hitting the open road to push its new VivoBooks
The 360 PhotoBooth will be touring Brisbane and Sydney in December.
Asus will be showcasing its Windows 8 touch-screen computers “from every angle” at the 360 PhotoBooth that is rigged with 36 DSLR cameras, each simultaneously capture an image of visitors to create a 360 degree photograph – think the special effects as per ‘The Matrix’, ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’.
The Pc maker launched its VivoBook notebooks, tablets in October starting at $499 for the 11.6″ VivoBook (F202) to the 14″ VivoBook S400 Ultrabook costing $799.
By becoming a fan of the ASUS Australia Facebook page, participants will be able to access and share their 360 degree video clips with friends, and enter a competition to win one of the new ASUS VivoBook S400 Ultrabooks.
The 360 tour will be hitting Brisbane 13-15 December at Queen Street Mall and will land in Sydney 18-20 December at Pitt Street Mall in CBD. It already did a stint in Melbourne’s QV Square last weekend.
