Last night The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today announced that Audi chairman Rupert Stadler will deliver a keynote address at the 2011 International CES. Scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 6 — the opening day of the CES show the event will be covered
“Advanced technology is at the heart of Audi’s DNA and is contributing to their continuing gains in global market share,” said Gary Shapiro, CEA president and CEO. “We are excited to welcome Rupert to the CES stage and look forward to hearing his outlook on the future of Audi and the ongoing relationship between the consumer technology and automotive markets.”
Stadler was named chairman of the board of Audi in January 2007, and also sits on the board of Volkswagen. He joins Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer, Verizon’s Ivan Seidenberg and Samsung’s Boo-Keun Yoon as 2011 CES keynote speakers.
