The Australian internet service provider Veridas has ceased operations, the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) announced today.
The Ombudsman said Telstra Wholesale has suspended services to Veridas and will disconnect services on Friday October 6.
“Veridas customers are free to transfer to any service provider they choose to, but the TIO recommends that ADSL and voice customers arrange to do so before Friday, October 6.
The TIO may consider investigating complaints where service transfers are well outside the recommended time frame of 10 working days,” the announcement read.
The Telecommunications Ombudsman is a free and independent alternative dispute resolution scheme for small business and residential consumers in Australia with unresolved complaints about their telephone or internet services.
