The new Leica T-System globally launched this week.The T system is the first Leica with inbuilt Wi-Fi to transfer images and videos to smartphones, tablets or PC and share on Facebook, Instagram via the free Leica T app.
It also has a 3.7″ LCD touchscreen display with an intelligent menu that can be personalised, large APS-C sensor with 16.5 megapixels, shoots videos in full HD resolution, and (almost) silent autofocus.
The awesome aluminium camera has a tilt-and-swivel function that lets you shoot from all sorts of angles, and comes with an integrated GPS.
The Leica T-System, which starts at $2300 has 16 GB memory built-in, and SD, SDHC and SDXC memory card slots for additional storage.
Leica T is ‘made in Germany’ in collaboration with AUDI Design, with its purist design it is manufactured from a single block of aluminium.
The camera’s accessories including T snap and T Flap body protectors come in four cool colours – melon yellow, orange-red, black and white – and there’s also an extensive range of bags and cases by AUDI Design.
The Leica T is available May 26th from authorised dealers. RRP inc GST Leica T (Typ 701) body Silver or Black A$2300.
Two lenses will initially be available – the Leica Vario-Elmar-T 18-56 mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH $2300/ Leica Summicron-T 35mm f2 Lens $2500.
