Belkin showcased its new Auto-Tracking Stand Pro with DockKit for iPhones that follows the user’s face and body movements with 360° rotation and 90° tilt at CES 2024.
After trying it out at the event, one reviewer called it, “the cameraperson you didn’t know you needed”.
Crafted for iOS and use with front and rear cameras, the stand is said to be quiet as it shifts around. The stand now allows content creators to go hands-free when making videos, livestreaming and video conferencing.
It also can be used by filmmakers, educators, virtual presenters, social app developers or even for a casual FaceTime or video chat with friends and family.
The Auto-Tracking Stand Pro with DockKit has an internal, rechargeable battery offers 5 hours of operation on a full charge, is made with MagSafe for fast wireless charging up to 15W, has 360º Movement Tracking, a 90º Motorised Auto Tilt and a Single button activation. A 5ft USB-C cable and 30W power supply included.
“The Stand Pro is unlike any other Belkin product we’ve created. Combining premium Belkin quality, impressively responsive robotics, and advanced subject tracking technology with DockKit, we’re excited to provide content creators with a thoughtfully designed product that will effortlessly enhance the creation process,” said Melody Tecson, Belkin’s vice president of product management.
The Auto-Tracking Stand Pro is claimed to be manufactured sustainably with at least 75% PCR materials. It also is packed in plastic-free materials to align with the organisation’s commitment to sustainable business practices.
