Belkin has launched its new 3.5mm Audio Cable with Lightning Connector allowing iPhone users to plug their phones directly into a audio unit without the need of an additional dongle.
For iPhone users the market is pretty small for Lightning to Audio cables even though the lightning port has been around since 2016.
This new cord has a built in digital to analog converter outputting high resolution audio. The cord comes in a 3ft or 6ft length.
Melody Saffery, senior director of product development, Belkin says, “Bringing our audio legacy into the digital realm is a natural progression of Belkin’s mission to connect people to the experiences they love most.
“Most of us are music lovers, and the ability to work on technology that can make other music lovers’ lives more fulfilling, better and more connected, inspires our teams to continue innovating.”
This new cable joins the Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar and the 3.5mm Audio + Charge RockStar in Belkin’s digital audio range.
The 3ft cable is priced at $39.95 and the 6ft cable at $49.95.
The Lightning to 3.5mm Audio cable is available now online and will be available in the coming weeks at JB Hi-Fi and all major retailers.
