BenQ are promising a ‘new era of big screen video game play’ with their new W1210ST home projector.
They say it’ll bring “the thrill of big-screen console play into any room of the house with 100 inches” and say it sets an industry low for input lag and eliminates motion blur in order to enhance realism.
“When it comes to immersive gaming, bigger means better. BenQ W1210ST takes your gameplay to an all new level as it projects a 100-inch image to fill your field of view. Players feel like they are in the heart of the action without suffering any of the distracting performance issues that can plague LCD TVs. Whether you’re playing on the Xbox One, PS4T or Wii UT, gamers can count on the W1210ST to deliver bigger, smoother and more detailed visuals that lock them into the excitement,” the company says.
They’re also touting mobility and cinema-quality sound as major features.
According to them, “A truly immersive experience should be a feast for the ears as well as the eyes. The W1210ST makes this possible with CinemaMaster Audio+, powered by MaxxAudio. Lasers blast, bones crunch, and tires squeal with the help of the projector’s 20-watt speaker housed in a resonant sound chamber.”
The W1210ST will retail for an MSRP of $1499.
