BenQ has introduced the BR9708 across Europe. It’s a professional-grade 4K projector designed for theme parks, immersive attractions, escape rooms and other environments that require accurate colour reproduction and strong contrast performance. The company says the model is tailored for low-light setups where visual realism is critical.
The BR9708 delivers true 4K UHD resolution with 8.3 million pixels and covers 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space. It features a 1200:1 native contrast ratio that produces deeper blacks, detailed textures and more natural skin tones without the need for filters or complex calibration. BenQ is positioning the projector as an upgrade path for older lamp based and low contrast projectors that are still widely used in ride systems, simulators and projection mapped installations.

To ensure consistency, the BR9708 undergoes a seven point factory colour calibration that delivers Delta E values below 2. This level of accuracy allows multiple projectors to match closely when used together in blended projection setups. The unit also includes a blending ready mode that automatically adjusts colour, gamma and alignment to simplify multi projector installations.
The projector is built with flexible placement in mind. It supports 50 per cent vertical lens shift, 35 per cent horizontal lens shift, centred optics and full 360 degree installation. These options help integrators position the BR9708 in tight or unconventional spaces typical of themed attractions.
