Maroochydore Homemaker Centre on the Sunshine coast opened its doors this week and Harvey Norman is very happy with trade so far.
“Opening day trade was beyond our expectations with nearly 4,000 customers through the doors and retailers very positive about their sales performance,” said Jennifer Ellis, Centre Manager.
Developed by Harvey Norman, the $130 million centre has been in construction since April 2011, opened its doors on Monday last with big opening celebrations kicking off tommorrow.
The new centre is anchored by the Sunshine Coast’s flagship Harvey Norman store as well as Domayne, Joyce Mayne and Harvey Norman Big Buys stores.
Other retailers include Next Byte, The Outdoor Furniture Specialists, Homeart, Rugs a Million, Dollar Tree, 2Garnish, Global Living, Plush Sofas, Nick Scali and Goodlife Healh Clubs.
The centre features retail showrooms in excess of 32,785sq m, 5,000sq m of premium first floor commercial space, 900 undercover parking spaces and lift access.
The Homemaker Centre is located at Maroochy Boulevard precinct and can be accesed from both Maroochydore and the Sunshine Motorway.
