According to Oricom’s Managing Director, Kevin McDonnell, the company’s decision to develop an easy to use mobile phone was in response to feedback from seniors and others in the community suffering with hearing loss and or low vision.
“This growing group of user’s needs from a mobile phone are vastly different to those of younger mobile phone users. Our new ezy100 GSM mobile phone makes the simple act of communicating a whole lot easier – something so many of us take for granted,” says Mr McDonnell.
The ezy100 is also equipped with essential features including a handy speakerphone, 3 quick dial buttons, phonebook and can send and receive SMS text messages. It also incorporates a unique emergency call function for added security. Simply slide the emergency switch and it will activate the speakerphone and dial up to 5 numbers that have been programmed.
The ezy100’s integrated emergency call function will help to get assistance quickly in the event of an emergency and provide peace of mind to users and their carers, knowing that their friends and loved ones can communicate more easily.
The ezy100 will have an RRP of $249.00 and comes with a bonus desktop charging base valued at $49 (for a limited time).
