Internet security software BitDefender has achieved a perfect score for threat protection in the AV-Test’s June results. The only other security software developer to achieve a matching 100 per cent score also employs bit defenders technology.
Hosted by AV-Test GmbH, which has over 15 years of anti-virus and data security research, it tests more than 3,000 products annually against the plethora of internet virus’.
They measure anti-virus software effectiveness in three categories, including zero-day malware attacks, detection of recent malware samples and detection of widespread malware.
BitDefender was the only software to score perfectly in all three.
This is the second round of testing that BitDefender Internet Security software scored a perfect 100 per cent score, where they also topped the first quarter AV-Test rounds.
Andreas Marx, the AV-Test CEO was happy to report “We closely examined 27 different security suites during this round of testing, and once again we congratulate BitDefender for their performance. It is pleasing to see that their technology is performing very impressively at the moment.”
