Research In Motion announced that it will release a white version of the BlackBerry Bold 9700 in Australia next month.

The white Bold 9700 is ‘dressed in a satin chrome finished frame and leatherette backplate’ and offers support for 3G HSDPA networks, a 624 MHz processor, 256 MB Flash memory, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, high resolution display, and long battery life.
It also comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera with zoom, auto-focus and auto-flash, video recording and microSD/SDHC memory card slot. It also includes BlackBerry Media Sync for easily syncing photos as well as iTunes and Windows Media Player music with the smartphone.
The white BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone will be available in Australia from mid May 2010.
